In August of 2001, Chris and Michele opened CK Photography in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Before coming to Fort Wayne, Chris worked for nearly 20 years as a commercial photographer for major catalogue studios in Chicago, Minneapolis, Green Bay and Fresno, California. “I wanted to get back to doing what I love, which is shooting portraits,” said Chris. “Even when I’m shooting at a wedding, I approach it as a series of portraits.”
“My experience in fashion photography influences the way that I shoot,” he said. “I like to photograph people in environments that reflect their personality. That’s why I love to shoot on location. I don’t want the portraits I take to look like all the other portraits you’ve had taken in the past.”
